SINCE 2022
Quality control and food safety: Protecting your health through microbiological know-how – that’s what HyServe stands for.
Since 2003, HyServe has been your partner for all aspects of hygiene monitoring and microbiological testing procedures.
As a distribution partner of renowned companies, we have made it our business to provide our customers worldwide with the most innovative and best methods for detecting contamination in water, food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical raw materials or on surfaces.
HyServe offers Lumitester Smart and LuciPac A3 Surface and LuciPac A3 Water tests that determine ADP (adenosine diphosphate) and AMP (adenosine monophosphate) in addition to ATP. By measuring the additional parameters, higher sensitivity and reproducibility of the measurements are achieved.
ATP+ADP+AMP are measured using LuciPac A3 for surfaces and LuciPac A3 Water for liquids, representing a new patented concept in the field of food hygiene.
One of the most commonly used hygiene tests is the ATP test, but ATP can be unstable and decompose into ADP and AMP. For example,ATP may be degraded into AMP and ADP in meat, shellfish, eggs, and fruit.
Conventional ATP-only tests become unreliable as a result, however A3 technology can also detect contaminants in this situation.
Unmatched sensitivity is provided by the LuciPac A3 and Lumitester Smart for detecting ATP + ADP + AMP. They provide the best user convenience and guarantee accurate residue and microorganism detection. They also discover the residues that were previously missed, thanks to sophisticated analysis techniques.
It is easy to set up hygiene monitoring in the food and beverage business using Lumitester Smart and LuciPac A3. Ultimately, this results in higher-quality products and a decreased danger of food poisoning.
Lumitester Smart from HyServe – the benefits
Lumitester smart is a one-handed, mobile, simple-to-use device with a carrying strap. Even in locations where it was previously challenging, such as directly in the manufacturing of food and beverages, as well as in supermarkets and restaurants, it now makes it possible to check the hygiene status whenever and wherever you choose.
Results are provided in less than 10 seconds, and a customized app is used for data visualization.
Hygiene monitoring often involves ATP tests. Integrated into the HACCP concept, they enable quick and objective measurements of hygiene and cleaning effectiveness.
For example, compared to bacteria in cell division, stressed bacteria have a reduced metabolism after inefficient cleaning or lack of nutrition.
ADP and AMP are the only adenosine derivatives that are detectable in such stressed bacteria, which cannot be detected in regular ATP test methods even though living bacteria exist.
Utilizing the patented technology, HyServe's Lumitester Smart is particularly suitable for identifying bacterial and food residues as well as measuring ATP and ADP and AMP, and converting them into bioluminescent signals by utilizing specific biological pathways, it is particularly suitable for hygiene testing within seconds. Bacteria and other organic contaminants can be detected in this way, including those that are inactive and stressed.
A HyServe ATP Lumitester Smart measures bioluminescence in RLUs, or relative light units. More relative light units mean a higher level of contamination.
Swabs are used for sampling. In this way, food and beverage production processes can be assessed for their effectiveness before and during production. A quick result, within 10 seconds, is provided by HyServe's Lumitester Smart, enabling action to be taken as soon as possible.

Highly sensitive test kit for checking the purity of liquids.
By detecting all organic residues and bacteria in liquids, the HyServe LuciPac A3 Water Test Kit and the Lumitester Smart can assess the level of purity. The system may thus make conclusions regarding inadequate cleaning or the hygiene status of systems and allows for quick and easy hygiene monitoring.

Guarantee your quality control
Your hygiene controls are even safer with the Lumitester Control Kit. In approximately 30 seconds, the Lumitester's accuracy is verified. It enables ongoing self-evaluation and confirms the Luminometer's perfect condition and proper operation.
From its humble beginnings in the 17th century as a major global manufacturer of soy sauces, Kikkoman has developed into an expert in enzymology, process engineering, and food research.
As a subsidiary, Kikkoman Biochemifa creates and sells innovative enzymes and functional ingredients for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, and beverage, as well as, and diagnostics industries.
The company created the highly innovative luminescence technologies of Lumitester Smart and LuciPac A3, which are offered through HyServe, using its significant experience in enzymes.
The RLU value refers to the Relative Lights Units produced by the enzyme in the solution. The "glow" that is not visible to the human eye is given a numerical value in RLU that allows conclusions to be drawn about the degree of contamination with micro=organisms and food debris.
Regular monitoring of the hygiene status is used for presentation and as evidence during audits by food inspectors and proves compliance with the specifications from the HACCP concept.
Based on ATP (adenosine triphosphate) bioluminescence, the technique measures the contamination level of surfaces and water samples. The amount of light emitted is proportional to the amount of ATP present. With A3 technology, these measurements become even more sensitive, and the smallest residues pr micro-organisms can be detected because A3 also measures the breakdown products of ATP, i.e. ADP (adenosine diphosphate) and AMP (Adenosine mono-phosphate).
You set the limit that should apply to the cleaned surface. For flat and smooth surfaces(such as glass or metal), a limit value of 200 RLU is normally sufficient. For uneven surfaces, (e.g. products made of plastic or where
